½yd (50cm) low volume (light) background fabrics
10” (25cm) binding fabric
20” (50cm) fabric for backing
20” (50cm) Wadding/batting square

Matching sewing thread
Quilting thread for hand or machine
½” wide ruler with ¼” marking.

And additionally for a cushion:
20” (50cm) calico/cotton fabric for lining
20” to 22” (50-55cm) long zip
Cushion filler pad 18” (45cm) square
